English question: What do I do if I feel pressured?

First, please know this: if you feel pressured, it is not your fault. Nobody is entitled to your body, and you never owe anyone a yes, no matter who they are or what they've done for you.

Pressure isn't always loud. It can be someone asking again and again until you give in, making you feel guilty, saying that if you loved them you'd agree, or threatening to leave you or share private things about you. All of this means a yes wouldn't be free. That's coercion, and it's not okay.

If you feel safe to, you can say no clearly and step away. You don't have to explain or apologise. If you don't feel safe, trust that instinct. Try to reach someone you trust, and get to a safe place when you can.

You don't have to carry this alone. Talking to someone can help you see your options and feel less afraid.

You can talk to a Letena doctor in private about what you're going through. It's free, and you'll hear back within a few hours. If you feel unsafe, please reach out, because help is available and you deserve support.
